PATRICK SEKYAYA (Director/Writer/“RALPH”)
Has made a name for himself as an actor, writer and director in Uganda and Africa. In 2010, he became best director out of 8 other directors at the film Africa mini film school in Nairobi Kenya under the mentorship of “The Inter- national” acclaimed German filmmaker Tom Tykwer. (Clive Owen & Naomi Watts). Later that year his film “Origin of sin” won best feature at the Silicon valley African film festival. CA, – His other film Nafulu has also got special mentions at the kilat nissa film festival in Italy. His films have shown on the African continent and internationally. Patrick has also attended Durban talent campus in 2010 and Berlinale talent campus in 2011. He made his directorial debut with award winning “Origin of Sin” 2009.
ARFAAN AHMED (“RAMAN”)
This Kenyan Raised Actor who first ventured into stage acting in the Uganda capital with a group know as the Uganda drama actors which is known for their numerous shake spear plays annually. He is a lawyer by profession along side the arts. The Ugandan has been his first film debut and he hopes to continue acting for screen. He is also known for writing stage plays in Kenya and Uganda.
EDLYN SABRINA (“SONIA”)
Is and Indian born and raised in India but later moved to Uganda where she has a family. She has appeared in music video before and The Ugandan also happens to be her first film debut. She was also crowned Mrs. India – Uganda in 2009 which made her famous among the Indian community in Uganda. She is also a member of the Indian Women Association in Uganda. Besides Acting she doubles as a musician and a happy mother of two. Her love for acting started way back as early as 10. And today she is happy to have acting as part of her and she enjoys acting for screen.
DORA MWIMA (“Becky”)
Is a Ugandan Actress who has a great passion for the arts especially having been a former miss Uganda – 2008. She had always acted in acting for drama plays too but her inner passion was film, which came true when she was cast as becky in the Ugandan. She continues to do her Charity works under the Dorahmwiima foundation, which has empowered many women in Uganda. She still remains an inspiration to many young girls in the country and promises to continue acting for film.
TONY KATABULA (“Tony”)
A native Ugandan, Tony is an actor and artist. He is very enthusiastic, energetic and calm at the same time. He appeared in award winning film origin of sin and also made a special appearance in Nafulu, He is famously know for his role in Nafulu among the Ugandans, he has always wanted to act and act whenever given a role. He acts as a supporting role in the Ugandan.
HALIMA NAMAKULA (“MELISA”)
Halima is one of the famous veteran actresses Uganda has got. Best known for her role in the 1990’s TV series – Bibawo, she started acting as far as 1980’s and she also doubles as a musician in Uganda with a huge following especially among the elderly and is also nicknamed as mama Uganda because of her success in the music industry. She continues to pursue her acting career every time taking up roles here and there.

ALVIN KASULE (Producer/Editor/Creator)
Alvin Kasule was born in Uganda (East Africa) and currently living in Boston (USA). Alvin’s career has seen him in a diverse range of areas within the entertainment industry. Alvin has a strong background in theatre and events. He wrote and directed the theatrically released Too late or Never (2004). Alvin’s creative aspirations are in producing, writing,event planning, acting and directing. He has coordi- nated live action films and short films. With a keen eye of understanding a good story and a sense of obligation to the audience, Alvin Kasule is ideally suited to the role of Producer. His dedication and attention to detail enables the highest standard of filmmaking. Movies so far produced: Nafulu, Origin of sin – award for best feature at SVAFF in California and The Ugandan-Winner best narrative at SVAFF 2012,Winner most gifted film maker in Uganda-2012, Official selection FESPAC0-2013. During his free time off the art work, he works as a health
care specialist, volunteered in so many Non Governmental Organizations and community leadership positions. And he is also president of AK FOINDA- TION INC(www.akfoundationinc.org). An international non-profit organization with a mission of Delivering basic needs, promoting rights and interests for deprived children, their families and foster sustainable livelihood improvements.
ARIF LALANI (Director of Photography)
Born in Hyderbad, Andhra Pradesh and a graduate of Newyork film Acad- emy. Who has shot a number of movies from India including the famous Jai Shri Ram. He has shot on video, 5Dmark II and also shot on the Red one camera. The Ugandan was his first film to be shot on location in Uganda.
